I did my Master in Virology from the National Institute of Virology, India. Following my interest in this subject, I worked initially in antiviral drug design against the Hepatitis C virus, and later studied the role of small GTPases in intracellular trafficking at IISER, Pune. I joined the MDVA team at IRIM-CNRS Montpellier in May 2017 for my doctorate, studying the signalling and events in late stages of HIV replication including its assembly and release.
